Daniel Colson

Profile

I am a Research Fellow employed on the NERC funded Antheia project, specialising in peatland remote sensing and hydrological change. The overarching aim of my research is to explore changes in northern peatland environments from remote sensing sources. This project will use a powerful combination of remote sensing techniques at a range of scales, and instrumental climate data, to study recent changes in northern peatlands. I am a global change geographer with a particular interest in earth observation, peatlands and biogeoscience. Previously I was part of the Space Hub Yorkshire (SHY) and work as the UK-EONS CCN Coordinator.
