Profile
I am the Research Fellow for the Green AWARE project with Vikki Houlden and Anna Barker, where we are looking into greenspace accessibility, the barriers faced by underserved communities in accessing and engaging with greenspaces, and how to overcome such barriers.
Research interests
I am interested in all things around the neighbourhood; how a neighbourhood changes, the sociodemographic processes (like gentrification) that drive these changes, the spatiotemporal properties of those cycles of change, and the inequalities that occur within a neighbourhood; those linked with neighbourhood change, or those like unequal access to greenspaces.
For my undergraduate dissertation, using a mixed-methods approach, I researched the barriers to access and engagement with a local greenspace.
