Profile

I am a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds in the Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science. My research interests are related to the application of machine learning in weather and climate science, with a focus on extreme weather systems and their evolution in a changing climate. I submitted my PhD thesis at the University of Exeter in January 2026, exploring computer vision concepts to study extratropical dry airstreams in present and future climates. Currently, I am working on the Cumulus Project, funded by the Gates Foundation and in partnership with The Alan Turing Institute, to enhance weather prediction and improve climate resilience in West Africa through the co-production of AI technologies.
