Profile
I completed my degree in Human Biology at the University of California, San Diego in 2018 and then moved on to complete my MSc in Nutrition at the University of Leeds in 2019. I thereafter began my PhD at the University of Leeds in October 2021 to focus on research focused on adolescents’ food choice, and examining at how to use nudging to encourage changes to adolescent food choice in secondary schools.
Research interests
My research interests includes adolescent nutrition and how social norms impact on adolescents’ food choices. My PhD project builds upon my research interests, and involves the design and development of nudge mockups that aim at changing adolescent food choice in secondary schools. My project is based on the theories of choice architecture and social norm theory.
