I have been employed as a research assistant by the University of Leeds to work across both projects, I have contributed to the development and implementation of monitoring methodologies aimed at assessing long-term changes in land management practices and their impacts on ecosystem service delivery.

Research interests

My research area focuses on upland landscape management using nature-based solutions and their impact on current and future ecosystem functionality, particulary of soil carbon sequrestration and storage, and hydrological soil dynamics.

Within this area of study, my main focus is on conservation-led woodland creation, and my main interest is to provide new evidence to create practical on-the-ground solutions to common dilemas within upland woodland planting schemes.
