Profile
I am a PhD student in the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds. My expertise lies in tropical meteorology, with my current research focusing on heat extremes, especially across equatorial Southeast Asia. I am particularly interested in understanding the drivers and predictability of extreme heat events to provide basis knowledge for early warning system and support climate resilience in the region. Before pursuing my doctoral studies, I worked as a weather observer and forecaster at the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG).
