- Thesis title: Tight sandstone reservoir characterization in Ombilin basin, Indonesia
- Supervisors: Professor Quentin Fisher, Dr Piroska Lorinczi
Profile
I am currently a postgraduate researcher at the Institute of Applied Geoscience, University of Leeds, and a geoscientist at Institut Teknologi Sumatera, Indonesia. I completed a master’s degree at Institut Teknologi Bandung with a dissertation about Carbonate Reservoir Modelling Based on Petrophysical Rock Type in 2013. I spent around ten years conducting research and consultancy work on Indonesia’s oil and gas exploration at Padjadjaran University energy study centre.
Research interests
My current project investigates the characteristic of a tight sandstone reservoir in intramontane basin to produce gas by hydraulic fracturing. This project includes pore system quantification, petrophysics and geomechanics analysis. Measurement and calculation are performed at Wolfson Multiphase Flow Laboratory, which Prof. Quentin Fisher manages.
