Research Fellow, Tropical Deforestation and Regional Climate, University of Leeds, January 2019 - Present

I am currently a research fellow working on the impacts of tropical deforestation and regional climate as part of the DECAF project (DEforestation - Climate - Atmospheric composition - Fire interactions and feedbacks), which is funded by the European Research Council, with lead principal investigator Professor Dominick Spracklen.

PhD, Impact of anthropogenic emissions on ambient air quality, human health and climate, University of Leeds, 2013 - 2018. Awarded March 2019.

My PhD research focused on developing a greater understanding of the global and regional impact of air pollution exposure on human health, particularly focusing on pollution from the small-scale combustion of household or residential solid fuels for cooking and heating needs. My principal supervisor was Professor Dominick Spracklen
