Research interests
Ian is an environmental scientist with a background in environmental geochemistry and marine geology. Expert in understanding the environmental behaviour of metal and radionuclide contaminants in natural and engineered environments. Researching issues related to land contamination, water quality and waste management. Using advanced methods in molecular environmental science to investigate nano-micro scale chemical processes. Working with external partners in consultancy and the mining, metal processing and nuclear industries.
