Mapping escapes during World War II - Barbara Bond

This event is organised as part of the regional programme of Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) events in Yorkshire and the North East.

Barbara investigates MI9’s wartime escape and evasion mapping programme, including how maps were smuggled to prisoners and how they helped orchestrate some of the most famous escapes in history.

Free and open to all, but advance booking via Eventbrite is essential.
