Fifth Food Science and Nutrition PhD conference a success
The School of Food Science and Nutrition's PhD conference has concluded, with three students winning prizes for their posters.
The 5th PhD conference was held on the 30th of November at the University House. This was an excellent platform for PhD students to showcase their research and a great opportunity for every member of the School of Food Science and Nutrition to meet and socialise.
The conference hosted 12 talks that covered different research areas, and a competition among the 23 displayed posters, in which Dorothy Aboagye-Mensah, Lorenzo Metilli and Vicente Mirón, were awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
The organising committee would like to thank all the attending colleagues and staff for making the event successful.
