Web-based GIS

This module aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop web-based mapping applications using popular and industry-standard internet technologies.

This module covers both client-side mapping libraries including Google Maps and Leaflet, alongside server-side technologies such as PHP and Database Management Systems. For the final assessment students have the opportunity to showcase their skills by developing an application of their choice.
