ITS Alumni Talk: Urban matters, resilience and climate

Alex Ryan will discuss the importance of cities from the perspective of solving some of our biggest global challenges: inequity, climate and health too as he has been working closely with the World Bank to support cities to build back better following the impacts of Covid19.

Biog: Alex currently works in international development as a Manager of Innovation and Project Development at Global Resilient Cities Network (GRCN).  He works with city governments around the world to support them to innovate and implement projects that will create more equitable, safer and resilient cities. He studied BA Geography at Liverpool and continued his studies graduating with MSc Sustainability in Transport from ITS, Leeds in 2015. Read Alex’s profile here.
