Profile
I am an Applied Researcher at the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), University of Leeds. I specialise in public acceptance of low-carbon innovations, bridging the gap between raw data and strategic insights for climate, energy, and mobility solutions.
Since 2023, I have played a key role in delivering strategic insights for major EU-funded projects, including ZEV-UP, ePowerMove, and WiBiCharge. My research expertise lies in turning complex data into interactive visualisations and engaging narratives. I apply state-of-the-art methods, including AI-driven topic modelling, sentiment analysis, and behavioural frameworks, to directly shape prototype designs and optimise decision-making.
I hold an MSc in Consumer Analytics and Marketing Strategy from the University of Leeds. My academic background is further supported by a BSc in Business Engineering and Management from EDEM (Valencia, Spain) and a BA (Hons) in Business Management and Marketing from the University of the West of England.
Research interests
My research focuses on the societal and behavioural drivers of low-carbon mobility adoption. I investigate how users perceive and interact with emerging technologies, to ensure technical innovations align with genuine human needs. My work integrates three core disciplines:
- Behavioural Modelling: Applying frameworks to identify adoption barriers and segment users.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilising Natural Language Processing (NLP), topic modelling, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyse large-scale public sentiment from online discourse.
- Data Visualisation: Developing interactive dashboards (Grafana, Streamlit) to translate complex IoT telemetry and survey data into actionable policy insights.
I currently apply these methodologies to shape prototype design and strategy within the following Horizon Europe projects:
- WiBiCharge
- ePowerMove: https://www.epowermove.eu/
- ZEV-UP: https://zev-up.eu/
