Profile
I am a research fellow at the Spatial Modelling and Dynamics group in the Institute for Transport Studies (ITS) at University of Leeds. I got my Ph.D. in Power Machinery and Engineering field from Tianjin University in China, where he focused on the application of alternative fuels, combustion optimisation of internal combustion engine, and pollution emissions control.
My research interests are in engine/vehicle 1D simulation and optimisation, engine soot formation and oxidation mechanism, fuel spray optical diagnosis, and low-carbon fuel application in engines. Currently, I mainly focuses on the field of frugal electric vehicles simulation and analysis.
Research interests
- Engine simulation and performance optimization
- Evaluation of vehicle performance and emissions
