Profile
I have background both in engineering and social science. I hold two PhD degrees in Civil Engineering (transport studies) and Environmental Psychology (transport psychology). I obtained my recent doctoral degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and worked on energy-related mobility innovations. I have also been a (visiting) scholar at the Mineta Transportation Institute, San Jose State University, California.
Throughout my career/studies, I have explored topics in travel behavior, traffic psychology, and the intersection of transportation with health, environment, energy, and safety. I have been involved in several international projects such as DRIVERS (Vehicle-to-Grid and AV studies in Norway), Micromobility research in the United States, a global cycling project named Bike-Barometer, NTRANS (Norwegian Center for Energy Transition Strategies) in addition to several Transport Master Plan studies.
At ITS, I work on the Inspiring Futures for Zero Carbon Mobility (INFUZE) project as a Research Fellow on Understanding Change Potential (Work Package 2). The link to the INFUZE page: https://in-fuze.org.uk/ The INFUZE project aims to conduct evidence-based research that will directly inform the development of future policies designed to enhance transport solutions in the UK and beyond.
