Recognition for ITS alumna

Alumna, Dr Clare Linton, has been named in the ‘40 under 40: Transport leaders for the 2020s’.

The feature, published on the Passenger Transport website, identifies 40 young passenger transport professionals who it believes are the future of the industry.

It is a great accolade for Dr Linton, who graduated from the Institute of Transport Studies in 2017 with a PhD in Low Carbon Technologies.

During her studies, she worked part-time as a Policy Researcher for the Urban Transport Group and since graduation has continued this role on a full-time basis. Her work ranges across different transport policy areas such as urban freight, transport and healthy, social inclusion and smart transport futures.

Alongside her work, Dr Linton has stayed in touch with the University as one of the Leeds Alumni Ambassadors.
