Transport is responsible for over a quarter of global CO2 emissions and these emissions have been rising.
The scale of the challenge is so great that there needs to be a simultaneous rapid shift in the technologies we use, the amount we move and the transport systems that provide that for us.
In this talk, Professor Greg Marsden will set out what needs to be done to ensure we go from zero progress to zero emissions in the next three decades. Sharing insights from leading research across the University he will lay bare the challenge and what could be done to meet it. Strap in, this could be a bumpy ride.
Professor Jillian Anable will chair this event.
