Engineering net zero: innovating in transport to cut carbon emissions
Professor Greg Marsden's new blog asks, 'What do we need to do to decarbonise transport?'
Prof. Greg Marsden, Professor of Transport Governance at Leeds, has published a new blog on the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) website, ‘Engineering net zero: innovating in transport to cut carbon emissions’, as part of the upcoming ESPRC Net Zero week (June 20-24).
The blog discusses how we can use new technology to change transportation and how we travel and explores the behavioural impacts of the pandemic and the opportunities it brings for research to shape new changes. Can we imagine new ways of organising our cities to reduce the frequency and distances which we need to travel?
