Profile
I have a BSc in digital media design from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, since 2015 and received my MSc in design from the same institution, in 2018. Currently, I am a PHD student on the University of Leeds Institute for Transport
Studies (ITS | Leeds). I also possess a minor in computer programming from EDX MITX-600, acquired in 2013 and a minor in human-cantered design from ACUMEN + IDEO, acquired in 2014.
I have worked as an assistant researcher on the Laboratory of Ergodesign and Usability of Interfaces (LEUI | PUC-Rio), from 2013 until 2016, on the field of human factors and interface design evaluation applied to transport. In 2017 worked as a miscellaneous researcher on the Institute for
Transport Studies of the University of Leeds, on experiments related to the AdaptiVe Project.
I was awarded as best assistant researcher from my department at PUC-Rio in 2014. I also received one best paper award on the conference: Ergodesign/USIHC, in 2015. On the year of 2015, I won the award of most memorable project on the Microsoft Design Expo international competition. I am also a member of the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society (HFES) since 2017.
Research interests
My research interests are related to vehicle automation, and how drivers gaze behaviour metrics can be used to predict their take-over performance and decision making, specially when it comes to accessment to information provided by the system's HMI.
