Profile
Zannat is an urban planner. She is from Bangladesh. She did her Bachelor in Urban and Regional Planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering and technology (BUET), Bangladesh. She pursued her M.Sc. degree as an Erasmus Mundus scholar. She completed her masters’ (with distinction) in a multidisciplinary double degree program entitled as International Co-operation in Urban Development from Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany and Université Grenoble Alpes, France. She was Awarded in DRIA International Design Competition, 2016 for Urban Design Excellence and the title of the project was “S.A.F.E.Waterscape”. She is working as an assistant professor, in the department of Urban and Regional Planning in Chittagong University of Technology (CUET) (Currently on study leave). She is also member of Bangladesh Institute of Planners, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and Women Architects, Engineers, Planners Association (WAEPA).
Research interests
Zannat’s research interest is focused on travel behavior analysis and transportation modelling using Big Data.
