Profile
I completed my PhD at the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds from 2021 to 2026. My research focused on railway planning, particularly line planning and timetabling, with an additional emphasis on economic assessment. During my doctoral study, I examined the development of Indonesia’s new and upcoming high-speed rail corridors, with case studies on the Jakarta–Bandung and Jakarta–Surabaya routes. My broader research interests lie in mathematical, optimisation and computational modelling for the development and evaluation of innovative solutions to transport and energy challenges. While my primary focus is on railway transportation, I am also open to research across other transport modes.
Currently, I work as a Researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (BRIN), under the Research Center for Transportation Technology (PRTT). If you are interested in potential research collaboration, please feel free to contact me at pras007@brin.go.id.
