Profile
I am a postgraduate researcher at the Institute for Transport Studies. I got my BSc in Civil Engineering and MSc in Construction Engineering and Management from Middle East Technical University (METU), Türkiye. I worked as a research and teaching assistant in Civil Engineering Department at Atilim University (2016-2018) and Middle East Technical University (2018-2020).
My research focuses on the impact of ridesourcing services on other modes, in particular car ownership, which is one of the most important determinants of subsequent commitment to car use, the traditional taxis and public transit. In my research, I am investigating the case of the United Kingdom.
