Dr Tracy Aze

My interest in the environmental was fostered as a child living in a vibrant coastal town and watching Sir David Attenborough on television. I wanted to see all of the world and be part of helping to keep it beautiful and safe for all people and animals. I was delighted to join the University of Leeds in 2014, as it is one of the largest and most successful Earth and Environment Schools in the U.K. it allowed me to be part of a department that plays a key role in tackling some of the biggest environmental challenges we face today.

I have been Programme Leader for Environmental Science since 2017 and I am always so proud of the achievements of our undergraduates. In the school our top priority is to give our students the best possible education. We are all determined that research excellence translates into the most up-to-date degree programmes possible to help our students achieve the very best of their potential and to help shape and protect the environment for future generations.
