The objective of this project is to improve the treatment and communication of uncertainty for climate services in China. Combining expertise in risk communication, environmental risk assessment, climate risk management, visual design, and knowledge quality assessment, our team work with programme partners at the UK Met Office, Chinese Meteorological Administration and other CSSP China Projects. Using expert elicitations, interviews and surveys, the project will identify key uncertainties and communication challenges that currently exist during the provision of climate information in China. We will then develop recommendations and supporting materials to address identified barriers.
