Inclusion in Dietary Assessment Research: A summer studentship working with people in the community to explore use of technology and experiences

This study’s aim was met by running two data collection sessions within the community with participants and volunteer researchers to collect information using devices with an online survey and a 24-hour food diary (myfood24), as well as hearing participants views on their experiences.

Study findings will be shared with researchers and members of the public in several outputs

  1. The Nutrition Society Conference (September 2025)
  2. University of Leeds Faculty of Environment Student Education Conference (Sept 2025)
  3. Community Centre Open day exhibition, with service users and staff
  4. School of Food Science and Nutrition , Nutritional Epidemiology Research Group Seminar (October 2025)
  5. Scientific Paper Publication  from 2025 onwards (currently in preparation)
