CRESCENDO aims to improve the representation of key processes in European Earth System Models (ESMs), to evaluate thoroughly the scientific performance of these models and use the models to generate a new set of Earth system projections for the coming century and coordinate a European contribution to CMIP6 ensuring new socio-economics scenarios. In Leeds we are responsible for the evaluation of aerosols in the ESMs.
